Through targeted programming, training, and organizational development we provide the resources and tools necessary for these catalysts for social change to grow, scale, and replicate their impact across the country.

     

    Our team is working to identify and cultivate relationships with promising non-profit organizations with the potential for scalable impact — we call them “Catalysts”—that is why we are hiring a Partnership Development Manager. The ideal candidate will develop strategies and tactics to build a robust pipeline of potential partners within a specific region. This person will work closely with internal stakeholders including the research team to hone and develop prospecting methodology, criteria, and screening tools that support successful relationship development and partnership analysis. As the relationship manager in the field, this role will make a significant contribution by providing recommendations for the Catalyst Program and insight and perspective as we consider venture philanthropy investments. We are currently looking for someone who is passionate, empathetic, motivated and highly entrepreneurial to help us find the very best social entrepreneurs in the country.

    Your Responsibilities Include

     

    • Identify high-performing organizations based on a regional portfolio
    • Articulate Stand Together’s vision, mission and values in all communications
    • Initiate prospecting activities and cultivate relationships through introductory calls, and face to face meetings 
    • Act as the principal ambassador for Stand Together by building and nurturing meaningful relationships with community leaders 
    • Working with the research team, direct landscape and portfolio analysis to support prospecting strategies
    • Formulate clear and concise programmatic recommendations for the Social Investment Officers
    • Build and grow a robust pipeline of opportunities in assigned region 
    • Share knowledge and collaborate across teams to make investment recommendations 

     

     

    Knowledge and Skills You Bring the Organization

     

    • Commitment to the purpose, values, and operating principles that inform Stand Together’s work
    • 5+ years’ experience in relationship building, membership, sales, fundraising, corporate social responsibility, non-profit or foundation development preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree in business, non-profit management, public administration or similar area preferred
    • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written 
    • Proven ability to deliver project outcomes 
    • Skill in building relationships and relating to external audiences 
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills
