    We are seeking a Research Associate to support our research capabilities, specifically serving as source for due diligence research and investment analysis on potential partners. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial in how they approach their responsibilities and will make process improvements for research needs that magnify the work of those they support.     Your Responsibilities Include


    • Contribute to the research capability of the Stand Together team 
    • Investigate and summarize research and collate data for high priority projects and build out of partner pipeline 
    • Research potential partnerships and conduct outreach to potential partners 
    • Prepare analysis and background materials to summarize key investment drivers for potential partners 
    • Prepare educational materials and backgrounders in key investment areas including: at-risk youth and education, addiction and mental health, workforce development, in-prison and reentry programs, homeless and housing, and financial empowerment



    Knowledge and Skills You Bring the Organization


    • Commitment to the purpose, values, and operating principles that inform Stand Together’s work
    • 1-3+ years’ experience and a BA in a relevant field preferred
    • Strong understanding of classical liberalism
    • Demonstrated abilities in researching, writing, and critical thinking 
    • High sense of urgency and initiative 
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
    • Ability to drive multiple projects to completion in a fast-paced environment 
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
    • Highly organized, results-driven approach to completing tasks 
    • Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
