    Our communications and marketing team is looking for a content manager to help tell the Stand Together Story.  You will lead written content development and strategy on behalf of the organization and ensure message consistency throughout all collateral.


    You are a strong writer with a background and expertise in both editorial and public relations best practices. We are looking for someone who can help with editorial prioritizing to support both internal and external communications--that's where you come in! Identifying the right stories, formats and evergreen collateral for various audiences will be key responsibilities in this role. In this role you will work collaboratively with internal teams, and external vendors.

    Your Responsibilities Include


    • Drive the content strategy for Stand Together’s internal and external audiences
    • Manage and execute on internal and external collateral to support donor and Catalysts communications, blog posts, feature stories, website copy, press releases, op-eds, etc.
    • Provide content support for speeches, op-eds, talking points, public forums, etc.
    • Ensure message consistency throughout the organization
    • Serve as content gatekeeper for internal teams
    • Manage Stand Together Editorial Calendar
    • Assistance with email-marketing campaigns and other marketing collateral as needed 


    Knowledge and Skills You Bring the Organization


    • Passionate writer with broad experience in journalistic, PR and feature writing preferred
    • Masterful copyeditor
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, humility, high sense of urgency, and a passion for consistency
    • 5-7 years of experience in journalism, communications, marketing, writing, editing, and/or related field
    • Commitment to the purpose, values, and operating principles that inform Stand Together’s work 


    Standout Candidates May Also Bring


    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience
