    Stand Together is looking for a full-time Organization Development Manager to be based out of our Arlington office who will work with a variety of non-profit organizations across the country. The Manager will thrive on turning vision into action in order to help our partners improve organizational effectiveness and accomplish their mission. Our Managers partner with organizations to develop innovative solutions to their most pressing problems, facilitating solutions ranging from strategy and leadership development to process and systems improvement.

    Using a humble consulting approach, the Organization Development Manager will work with our philanthropic investments team to design and develop engagement strategies and will lead delivery of these solutions with our partners. Working collaboratively with partners and other Stand Together capabilities, the Manager identifies the root cause of barriers the organizations are facing and leverages the principles of Market-Based Management® and Principled EntrepreneurshipTM to build tools that enable partners to grow and scale the impact they are having on the individuals and communities they serve.

    Our Organization Development Manager can expect to travel about 25-30% of their time, based on business needs.


    Your Responsibilities Include


    • Analyze partner’s vision and strategy from top-down and bottom-up perspectives and identify core and enabling functions and capabilities
    • Act as the engagement leader, identify tasks, assign and coordinate resources, and create and track project schedules
    • Work with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to design, develop, and deliver engagement strategies and program plans to identify gaps and implement solutions
    • Direct qualitative and quantitative research and data gathering and identify key themes, trends, and opportunities
    • Ensure competency in project and financial management, management of teams, formulating business strategy, and management of client relationship
    • Plan and manage programs to meet product delivery, quality, and schedule goals on partner consulting engagements 



    Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization


    • Commitment to the purpose, values, and operating principles that inform Stand Together’s work
    • 5+ years of related experience and an advanced degree OR 7+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree preferred
    • Experience with management, process improvement, strategy, human capital consulting, non-profit governance and leadership, talent development and learning, or organization development consulting
    • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
    • Proven ability to deliver project outcomes
    • Skill in building relationships and relating to external audiences
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills
